Read the instructions carefully before use and work in strict accordance with the instructions.

Sample requirements:

Oropharyngeal swab: The patient’s head is tilted slightly, with the mouth wide open, exposing the pharyngeal tonsils on both sides. Use the swab to gently wipe the tonsils on both sides at least 3 times, then wipe the posterior pharyngeal wall up and down at least 3 times.
Nasal Swab: Before taking the nasal swab, the patient should be instructed to blow their nose. Gently insert the swab into the nostril with the most secretion under visual inspection. Gently press the swab until you feel resistance at the nasal concha (less than 1 inch in the nostril). Twist the swab against the nasal wall several times and then remove it from the nostril.
Nasopharyngeal swab: Under visual inspection, gently insert the swab into the nostril with the most secretion. Hold the swab near the septal floor of the nose while gently pushing the swab into the posterior nasopharynx. Rotate the swab several times and then remove it from the nasopharynx (if you have a reflex cough, stop for 1 minute).

Sample preparation:

Remove the seal from a sample treatment solution tube. Place the swab in the sample tube and ensure that the swab is submerged in the solution. Twist and squeeze the swab 10 times on the wall and bottom of the tube. Squeeze the tip of the swab against the inner wall of the sample tube to retain as much solution as possible in the tube. Remove the cotton swab. It is recommended to perform the test immediately after sample collection and processing. If the test cannot be performed immediately, the processed samples may be stored at 2-8°C for 48 hours.

Test procedure:

  • Bring the sachet to room temperature before use.
  • Take out the cassette and place it on a horizontal table.
  • Add 3 drops of the processed sample vertically to the sample well and start the timer.
  • View the result after 10 minutes. The result is valid within 30 minutes. Results read after 30 minutes are invalid.
